The Universal Peace Federation of Malaysia was founded on 26 November 2005. The Inaugural Convocation was held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center with more than 2000 participants consisting of government leaders, NGOs representatives and students.

The organising chairperson is Tan Sri Datuk Paduka Dr Hjh Saleha Haji Mohd Ali and the event was graced by YB Tan Sri Bernard Dompok, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
